The Energy Business Area covers the gas business, the activities of the Istrabenz energetski sistemi Group as well as the transhipment and storage of oil derivatives.

The Istrabenz plini Group

The parent company is Istrabenz plini with its registered office in Koper. The Group includes the subsidiaries: Plinarna Maribor and Moja energija in Slovenia, Istrabenz plini, Bakar and Disuplin Porto Re, Kraljevica in Croatia, Istrabenz plini, Sarajevo, and Istrabenz plini, Belgrade. 

The Group’s activity covers the entire marketing range of gases: liquefied petroleum gas, industrial and specialty gases, application technologies and natural gas.

The Istrabenz Gorenje Group

The parent company is Istrabenz Gorenje energetski sistemi. Its base is located in Nova Gorica. The subsidiary companies have registered offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenia.

These companies are: Intrade Energija, Sarajevo; Vitales, Nova Bila and Vitales, Bihač; GEN-I; Istrabenz - Gorenje, Zagreb; Istrabenz Gorenje, Belgrad; Istrabenz Gorenje, Inženiring and Biotoplota, Nova Gorica.

The Group is mainly engaged in the production, distribution and trading in electricity as well as in innovative solutions in the fields of sustainable energy, efficient use of energy and the consumption of renewable energy sources.

Transhipment and storage

Transhipment and storage activity is performed by Instalacija, whose registered office is located at Sermin near Koper. The core activity of the above company is the storage and transhipment of oil derivatives. Instalacija has available the largest and best equipped warehouse of oil derivatives in Slovenia.
