The Istrabenz Holding Company and the Istrabenz Group follow the guidelines of the European Union that encourage the promotion of investments in human resources and education. We are aware that people are our key competitive advantage, while their abilities coupled with their acquired and applied knowledge have taken over the role of capital in modern society.

We are aware that properly motivated and trained employees who effectively satisfy their needs at work are a precondition for achieving the ambitious goals we have set.

The most prominent human resources project in the Istrabenz Holding Company is the competition 'The Hope of Istrabenz' which has been organised each year since 2003. 'The Hope of Istrabenz' is a specially designed public personnel competition through which we – as a socially accountable company – aim to attract those occupations in short supply to meet the specific needs of various areas within the Group.

In the jubilee year 2008 we decided to extend our commitment even further to investing in youth and we carried out a special project, Istrabenz Class.
