The Istrabenz Holding Company has provided the Hearing and Speech Correction Centre Portorož with funds for a year's pedo-psychiatrist (psychiatrist for children and youth) services.

The Istrabenz Holding Company provides humanitarian aid to both organizations and individuals that need help. One of the most visible humanitarian campaigns is based on the initiative presented by the Istrabenz Holding Company at the Annual General Meeting of the Chamber of Commerce of Primorska on 20 September 2007.

Health care, social and humanitarian projects in 2005
The Istrabenz Holding Company helped:
- The Red Cross of Slovenia to aid the survivors of the tsunami in Southeast Asia and to produce sleeping bags for the stricken population of Pakistan,
- the Medical Centre of Ljubljana for purchasing a machine used for measuring tissue vitality and
- through the ‘Bet’ campaign initiated by Tone Fornezzi – Tof, to assist the institution helping children with cancer and rare blood diseases.
In addition, several individuals in dire straits were given financial assistance.
The local community in 2005
The Istrabenz Holding Company continuously co-operates with various local clubs and organisations. One of the most noticeable is the sponsorship of fireworks at the traditional ‘Rumena noè’ (Yellow Night) event in Koper (www.koper.si ).
